ABOUT ANNIE ERSINGHAUS

Annie is an award winning independent filmmaker from Las Cruces, New Mexico. She enjoys the art of storytelling and finds passion in documentary filmmaking, especially when it works to bring attention to the complicated relationship between humans and our environment. As a poet, writer, musician and artist, she uses her emotions and feelings to dive deep into her own relationships with the world around her.

 

She has experience with camerawork, editing, and story structure. Her recent work features a top entry winning environmental essay film for Unearthodox's call for Voices of Regeneration. Marketing/Event filming for Sessions Climbing + Fitness and NMSU's College of HEST. Her personal projects are boundless ranging from essay films, montage travel edits, and short documentaries. She has completed a web series called “Is It Worth It” that explores athletes' struggles and passions. She has also completed an environmental film called “Burning Water” that explores water usage in the southwest.​

She was awarded Outstanding Undergraduate at New Mexico State University where she graduated in 2023. She is currently completing a documentary about her time abroad in Australia.
