ABOUT ANNIE ERSINGHAUS

Annie is an award winning independent filmmaker from Las Cruces, New Mexico. She enjoys the art of storytelling and finds passion in documentary filmmaking, especially when it works to bring attention to the complicated relationship between humans and our environment. As a poet, writer, musician and artist, she uses her emotions and feelings to dive deep into her own relationships with the world around her.

Annie has 7+ years of experience with filming, editing, and story structure. Her recent work features multiple environmental documentaries screened across the state of New Mexico and a top entry winning environmental essay film for Unearthodox's call for Voices of Regeneration. She has done marketing and event filming for Sessions Climbing + Fitness, NMSU's College of HEST, The Wilderness Society, The Customer Story, and Conservation Lands Foundation.

She was awarded Outstanding Undergraduate at New Mexico State University where she graduated in 2023. When Annie is not editing or filming she is busy using her storytelling and passion to fight for and stand up for the place in which she lives and calls home. Whether that is bringing attention to the issues of the Rio Grande and southwest water use or the development of a data center in Doña Ana County, Project Jupiter.
